The Wedding ...
Our ceremony was held at 10:00 am deep in the jungle of west-central Florida. Two miles down a dirt road is a spot called Spirit Springs. Three underground springs flow into an enchanting lagoon. The site originally was a private home that evolved into a retreat and Yoga teaching facility. We decided to have the ceremony early in the day in an effort to outsmart the BUGS! Salina Sisk put together a marvelous picnic lunch complete with a WEDDING CAKE (that was a surprise).
Afterwards we chartered a pontoon boat for a "nature tour" of the Crystal River. The wedding party was a small group of family & friends. We dropped anchor for a bit at the site of another underground spring and most everyone went for a swim. We had our champagne toast on the boat and then headed back to shore.
It was truly a wonderful day!
